Eli Morgan and the Palos Verdes Waves (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 7 in 2008.

Eli graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (Rolling Hills, CA) where he pitched four years on the varsity baseball team. In 2014 he earned Bay League Co-Pitcher of the Year and All-CIF First Team. Eli continued his education and baseball career as a walk on at Gonzaga University (Spokane, WA). After three collegiate seasons, Eli was drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on May 28, 2021. Eli and the Guardians clinched the 2024 American League Central division.

Eli was traded to the Chicago Cubs on November 20, 2024.
