Wil Crowe and the Knoxville Stars (TN) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2007 during Tournament 1. He helped his team reach the semi-finals in the single-elimination tournament batting 3-for-3 in one game and hit two home runs and pitched six innings in the Sweet 16.

Wil graduated from Pigeon Forge High School (Pigeon Forge, TN). A pitcher on his school’s baseball team, he posted an 11-4 record with a 0.89 ERA his junior year (2012) and went 15-1 with a 0.46 ERA his senior year (2013). Wil’s accolades included District 3-AA MVP and All-PrepXtra First Team, Tennessee Sportswriters Association All-State, Southeast All-Region, 2013 Louisville Slugger High School All-American, and 2013 Gatorade Player of the Year (Tennessee). At the plate, Wil went .448 with 12 home runs his senior year.

Wil was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, he opted to continue his education and play baseball at University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC). Majoring in Public Health, after three successful collegiate seasons on the mound, the Washington Nationals chose Wil in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. He made his major league debut on August 22, 2020.

Wil was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in December of 2020. After three seasons with the Pirates, he signed with the Kia Tigers of the KBO League in Korea, playing his first game on March 23, 2024. In 2025, Wil signed with the Philadelphia Phillies. He played his final games, retiring in September of 2025.
