Jared Koeing competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 9 in 2006 with Santa Cruz Mountain Baseball (CA). He helped his team to an undefeated pool play record for the 9th seed.

Jared graduated from Aptos High School (Aptos, CA). A member of the baseball team and a left-handed pitcher, he compiled a 9-3 record both as a junior and senior and was selected the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League Pitcher of the Year (junior) and was first team All SCCAL selection (senior).

Following high school, Jared continued his education and baseball career at Central Arizona College (Coolidge, AZ) where he amassed an 11-1 career record in two seasons. His junior year was spent at Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA) [nine appearances and two starts] with his final season at California State University, Monterey Bay (Marina, CA).

After his collegiate career, Jared played a couple seasons in various independent baseball leagues. He signed with the Oakland Athletics in December of 2019 to begin his Major League baseball professional career. Jared made his Major League debut on June 8, 2022. He spent the 2023 season in the San Diego Padres organization. Jared signed with the Milwaukee Brewers in November of 2023 and helped the franchise clinch the 2025 National League Central division.
