CaraMia Tsirigos competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2005 with the North Georgia Mudcats (GA) during Week 1 and with Team Georgia (GA) in 2006, Week 1. Cara Mia holds Cooperstown Dreams Park’s 10 and under record for ‘Most home runs in one week by a girl’ with one home run.

CaraMia continued playing on the diamond in high school but made the switch to softball. She played for Wesleyan High School (Peachtree Corners, GA) where she received several accolades. In 2011, CaraMia was named the Georgia Dugout Club Class A Player of the Year in and in 2012 was named GACA Class AA Player of the Year, Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Year and a first team all-state selection. She was a three-time NCSAA All-American selection as well as an all-county and all-state performer three times and led Wesleyan to two consecutive runner-up finishes at the GHSA State Championships in 2011 and 2012. CaraMia set the Wesleyan record for single season batting average with a .585 mark in 2010 and broke single season records for hits (55), RBI (56), homeruns (13) and walks drawn (37) in 2012. She maintained a career batting average of .493, totaling 176 hits, 46 doubles, three triples, 31 homeruns and drove in 152 RBI. CaraMia also played travel ball with the Southern Force and helped them to three top-five finishes at ASA Gold Nationals. In addition to softball in high school, she lettered in basketball.

After her high school graduation, CaraMia attended and played softball at Indiana University. During her freshman season (2014) she appeared in all 42 games, starting in 41. Her stats included a batting average of .236 with 25 hits, nine runs and 16 RBI, a .364 on-base percentage and a .415 slugging percentage.
