Joshua Dobbs

Joshua Dobbs and the Wills Park Wild Dogs (GA) reached the semi-finals during Tournament 4 in 2007. During the team’s Sweet 16 game, Joshua went 2-2 at the plate with a home run.

Joshua graduated from Alpharetta High School (Alpharetta, GA) where he was a member of the football and baseball teams. His football accolades included First Team All-State, First Team All-County, First Team All-Region, Second Team All-Area, First Team All-Conference, Alpharetta H.S. Offensive MVP, and AHS Scholar Athlete honors in his junior and senior seasons. On the diamond, he earned First Team All-Region honors.

Joshua went on to University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN) to continue his education and football career. An Aerospace Engineering major, he was the recipient of the Bill & Sandy Hamilton Athletics Scholarship Endowment and William H. Cannon Athletic Engineering Scholarship. Playing four collegiate seasons at quarterback, Joshua set program quarterback records for career rushing yards (2,160), career rushing touchdowns (32), single-season rushing yards (831 in 2016) and single-season rushing touchdowns (12 in 2016).

Following his college career, Joshua was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 NFL draft and made his NFL debut in 2018 against the Atlanta Falcons. Just prior to the 2019 season, he was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did return to Pittsburgh for the 2020 season. Between 2022 to 2024, Joshua moved around the league playing for the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers. In March of 2025, he signed with the New England Patriots, clinching the AFC Championship and advanced to Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks.
