Trevor Megill and the California Yankees (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 11 in 2006. He helped his team to an undefeated pool play record, the Sweet 16 in the single-elimination tournament, and was 8th overall in the King of Swat skill competition.

Trevor graduated from Bixby Charter School (Long Beach, CA). Prior to Bixby, he attended one year at Orange Lutheran High School (Orange, CA) and two years at Marina High School (Huntington Beach, CA), While at Marina, Trevor recorded a 1.35 ERA and a 7-2 record from the mound his junior year. He also competed on the water polo and football teams.

Trevor continued his education and baseball career at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, CA). At the conclusion of his collegiate career, he was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs in December of 2019 and made his Major League debut on April 26, 2021. He signed with the Minnesota Twins following the 2021 season and then the Milwaukee Brewers on April 30, 2023. He helped the Brewers clinch the 2025 National League Central division.
