Drake Thomas

Drake Thomas and Tar Heels Baseball (NC) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 4 in 2012. They recorded a 5-1 regular game record for the 16th seed and reached the semi-finals during the single-elimination tournament.

Drake graduated from Heritage High School (Wake Forest, NC) where he played football and baseball. Playing middle linebacker and running back for the football team, he finished as the school’s all-time leading tackler with 393 tackles. On the offensive side, he scored a career 16 touchdowns. On the diamond he completed his high school career with a .267 batting average.

Drake attended NC State University (Raleigh, NC) to continue his education and football career. At the conclusion of the 2021 and 2022 seasons, he earned the team’s Bill Cowher Award for top linebacker and the Mario Williams Award for Defensive MVP. Following his collegiate career, Drake signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL draft. He was then signed with the Seattle Seahawks prior to the 2023 season. During the 2025 season, Drake helped the Seattle Seahawks clinch the NFC Championship and then defeated the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl LX.
