

Garrett Bradbury and the Charlotte Thunder (NC) competed during Tournament 11 in 2008, earning the 8th seed with a 7-0 record after regular tournament play.
Garrett graduated from Charlotte Christian School (Charlotte, NC) where he played tight end and defensive end on the football field. In 2013, he helped his team post a 12-0 record and won the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association state title in 2012 and 2013.
Following high school, Garrett continued his education and football career at NC State University (Raleigh, NC). The tight end turned offensive lineman was named to the 2014-15 ACC Academic Honor Roll; earned the team’s Earle Edwards Award for highest GPA and was also the recipient of the Independence Bowl’s scholar-athlete award in 2016; co-winner of the team’s Earle Edwards Award for top GPA, CoSida Academic All-District performer and first-team All-ACC choice by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) in 2017; and All-American and won the Rimington Trophy in 2018.
Garrett entered the 2019 NFL draft and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings. After six seasons and starting a total of 88 games, he signed a two-year deal with the New England Patriots on March 18, 2025. Garrett played and started all 21 games helping the Patriots clinch the AFC Championship and advanced to Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks. On March 11, 2026 he was traded to the Chicago Bears.
