Blake Snell

Blake Snell and the Seattle Stars (WA) played at Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament 10 in 2005. The team clinched the first seed heading into the single-elimination tournament and reached the championship game, falling to the third-seeded Star Maker Stingrays Blue (CA), 6-4.

Blake graduated from Shoreline High School (Shorewood, WA) where he was a pitcher for the baseball team. He finished his senior year with a 9-0 record and 1.00 ERA with 128 strikeouts in 63 innings pitched. Blake did commit to play baseball at University of Washington (Seattle, WA); however, he chose to go professional and was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on April 23, 2016, won the American League Cy Young Award in 2018, and reached the 2020 World Series with Tampa Bay, losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In December of 2020, Blake was traded to the San Diego Padres. He won the National League Cy Young award for the 2023 season. Blake signed with the San Francisco Giants prior to the 2024 season and then the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2025 season, helping the Dodgers win the 2025 World Series title.
