Dalton Rushing played at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Bolton Wildcats (TN) during Tournament 6 in 2013.

Dalton graduated from Brighton High School (Brighton, TN) where we lettered four years in baseball and two in football. On the diamond, he was named 2019 District Player of the Year and earned All-State honors in 2016 and 2018.

Dalton continued his academics and baseball career at the University of Louisville (Louisville, KY). The first baseman/catcher earned the following accolades during the 2022 season: Collegiate Baseball Newspaper All-America Second Team, ABCA All-America Third Team, Perfect Game All-America Third Team, All-ACC Second Team, and All-ACC Baseball Academic Team.

Dalton was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on May 15, 2025 and helped the Dodgers win the 2025 World Series title.
