Steven Kwan competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Nor Cal Grizzlies Team Mizuno (CA) during Tournament 2 in 2008 and with TABU (CA) in 2010’s Tournament 5. In 2008, Steven helped his team to a 6-0 pool play record, reaching the Sweet 16 and he finished 3rd in the Road Runner skill competition with a time of 14.16 seconds. Another undefeated record in pool play in 2010, Steven’s team advanced to the Elite 8 and he posted a second place finish in the King of Swat with 4 home runs.

Steven graduated from Washington High School (Fremont, CA) where he was a four-year letter winner on the diamond. The outfielder’s accolades include Second Team NCS, First Team All East Bay, First Team All-League (twice), and Second Team All-Conference. At the conclusion of high school, Steven continued his education and baseball playing at Oregon State University (Corvallis, OR).

After three successful collegiate seasons, Steven was selected by the Cleveland Guardians in the 2018 Major League baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 2022. Steven and the Guardians clinched the 2024 American League Central division.
