

Emmet Sheehan played with the Darien Blue Wave (CT) at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 9 in 2012.
Emmet graduated from Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT) where he played baseball for two seasons. He also played two seasons at Fordham Preparatory School (Bronx, NY). During his senior year, Emmet went 7-0 with a 0.35 ERA and 51 strikeouts, earned team MVP, named WNEPBL Young Division Pitcher of the Year, and helped his team to a conference championship. As a junior, he posted a 4-1 record and 1.64 ERA. He also earned All-WNEPBL in 2017 and 2018. In addition, Emmet was a member of the varsity basketball team his senior year.
Following high school, Emmet attended Boston College (Chestnut Hill, MA) where he pitched for two seasons on the baseball team. Emmet transitioned to the professional level when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2021 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on June 16, 2023. Emmet helped the Dodgers win the 2025 World Series.
