Anthony Volpe and the NCYAA All-Stars (NY) won the 2013 Tournament 13 championship at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The third-seeded NCYAA All-Stars defeated 28th-seeded Winter Park Diamond Force (FL) 12-5 to clinch the title.
Anthony graduated from Delbarton School (Morristown, NJ) and was a valuable member of the baseball team. During his senior year, he batted .488 with seven home runs, 34 runs batted in (RBIs), and 17 stolen bases. Anthony was named the 2019 New Jersey High School Player of the Year by Perfect Game.
He did commit to play college baseball at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN), however, he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 2019 Major League baseball draft. Anthony made his Major League debut at shortstop on March 30, 2023. He helped the Yankees reach the 2024 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. During Game 4 of the 2024 World Series, Anthony hit a grand slam, becoming the first player with four RBI and two stolen bases in a World Series game.
