Lucas Raley competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during 2007, Tournament 10. He recorded 5 home runs, including a grand slam.

Lucas graduated from Highland High School (Medina, OH) where he was a three-year letter winner for baseball and also played football and basketball. On the diamond, he earned Suburban League, All-Gazette and Medina Post Honorable selection (2011) and First-Team Suburban League, All-Gazette and Medina Post selection (2012).

Following high school, Lucas attended Lake Erie College (Painesville, OH). At the conclusion of his first season, he was named GLIAC Freshman of the Year and was an All-Region selection. Throughout his three-year collegiate career, Lucas made the All-GLIAC Academic Team and earned All-American, All-Region, GLIAC First Team and the GLIAC Commissioner's Award Recipient. The outfielder was inducted into the Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023.

Lucas was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut on April 9, 2021. Lucas was traded to the Minnesota Twins in July of 2018 then back to the Dodgers in February 2020. Just prior to the 2022 season, he signed with the Tampa Rays where he played for two seasons before being traded to the Seattle Mariners on January 5, 2024. Lucas helped the Mariners clinch the 2025 American League West division.
