Justin Bruihl and Team Rawlings of Cabernet (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2010, Tournament 10. He helped his team to an undefeated pool play record for the 7th seed and reached the Sweet 16 of the single-elimination tournament. Justin competed in the Golden Arm skill competition and qualified for the finals.

Justin graduated from Casa Grande High School (Petaluma, CA). A left-handed pitcher, he helped his baseball team win the North Bay League title (2015) and earned North Bay League honorable mention.  

Justin continued his education and baseball career at California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo, CA) for one year. He transferred to Santa Rosa Junior College (Santa Rosa, CA) for his sophomore year, posting a 7-0 record from the mound.

Following his 2017 collegiate season, Justin signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an undrafted free agent. He made his Major League debut on August 8, 2021. He was traded to the Colorado Rockies in August 2023 then to the Cincinnati Reds in January 2024. In June 2024, he signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Justin moved to the Toronto Blue Jays in March 2025 and helped the franchise reach the 2025 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Justin was traded to the Cleveland Guardians in December 2025 then to the St. Louis Cardinals on January 6, 2026.
