Tanner Bibee competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 13 in 2011 with the O.C. Hurricanes (CA). He helped his team post a 6-0 pool play record and reach the Elite 8 in the single-elimination tournament.

Tanner graduated from Mission Viejo High School (Mission Viejo, CA), playing three years of varsity baseball. As a pitcher he earned All South Coast League honors, First Team All-Orange County, First Team All CIF, Cal-Hi All State Second Team, Maxpreps All-State Second Team honors, and was named the Seaview League MVP.

After high school, Tanner went on to California State University, Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) where he played all four seasons. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 2021 Major League baseball draft, making his Major League debut on April 26, 2023. Tanner and the Guardians clinched the 2024 American League Central division.
