Ryan Borucki

Ryan Borucki competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park with Full Package (IL) during Tournament 10 in 2006. After an undefeated pool play record, Ryan helped his team reach the championship game including hitting a home run in the single-elimination tournament. As the 10th seed, they fell to 17th-seeded Nevada Wildcats (NV), 9-1, in the title game.

Ryan graduated from Mundelein High School (Mundelein, IL) where he was a three-year letter winner for the varsity baseball team. A left-handed pitcher, he posted a 7-1 record his junior year with a 1.20 ERA and 57 strikeouts. His accolades included All-Conference, All-Lake County, and All-Academic.

Ryan committed to play baseball at the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA) however, he was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft and opted to go professional. He made his Major League debut on June 26, 2018.

After six years within the Blue Jays organization, Ryan signed with the Seattle Mariners in June 2022 where he played one season. He started the 2023 season with the Chicago Cubs but moved to the Pittsburgh Pirates in May. Ryan returned to the Blue Jays in August 2025, helping the franchise reach the 2025 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ryan signed with the Chicago White Sox in January 2026 for a few months before signing with the San Francisco Giants on March 21, 2026.
